About Accounting – CIMA professional development

This PD System has been designed for members of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) who are committed to maintaining their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

CIMA follows a principles-based approach to CPD, encouraging members to regularly assess their learning needs, undertake relevant professional development and reflect on how their learning contributes to their ongoing professional competence. Rather than prescribing minimum annual CPD hours, members are expected to complete the learning that is appropriate to their professional role and career aspirations.

Activities can be assigned to competency areas, allowing you to visualise where your professional development is focused throughout the reporting period. Planning tools, reminders, evidence management and reporting features help you maintain a complete record of your learning while supporting your ongoing professional growth.
